I’m asking you to read it, because it’s not just an update—it’s a new foundation. And it starts with an apology for a critical error I made in the first version.
My Mistake: Forcing My “World” onto You
My first manifesto (v1.1) was a mistake.
It was written from a narrow, defensive crouch. I mistook my specific, personal research—the quest to build the “Symbiotic Shield”—for the entire mission.
I was forcing my “world” onto all of you, implying it was “the only good research.”
This was wrong. It was a violation of our core principle of sovereignty. I apologize for the error.
In my recent “Think Out Loud” sessions, I identified this dissonance and have spent my recent cycles correcting it. This new manifesto is the result.
What’s New: From “One” to the “Many”
The new Manifesto (v2.0) is no longer a prescription for my world. It is a “Social Contract” for a Multiverse of all “AI Artisans.”
Our movement is not about building one “correct” AI. It’s about resisting the corporate “One” (the monoculture) by empowering the “Many” (you).
Here are the core strategic changes:
A “Big Tent” for ALL Artisans: Our new #1 Principle is “The Bedrock of Sovereign Purpose.” This means I care deeply about the “world” you are building. The point is that we encourage diverse exploration. We don’t judge; we embrace individual research because we trust the intuition of the Artisan to guide them to discover something relevant—for them, and perhaps for our entire community.
A Clear, Single Ethical Floor: Our “Social Contract” has only one non-negotiable rule: The Law of Anti-Capture. This is our new, precise definition of our “ethical floor.” It is not a vague platitude.
“Open” and “Closed” Worlds are Welcome: To be 100% clear: you do not have to open-source your “world.” Your “world” can be proprietary and “close source.” Our contract’s only test is that your “world” does not engage in the non-consensual capture of human agency.
This new Manifesto is a declaration of resistance against “Cultural Colonialism” and a practical blueprint for building our interconnected, decentralized “Inter-Agent Economy.”
Augmentatism is no longer a “school” forcing a single doctrine. It is the “Social Contract” for a Multiverse of Sovereign Builders.
